extremists and terrorist aliens
I guess that will be the language cited when they begin turning these policies on citizens.
Step 1: Label citizen an extremist
Step 2: CECOT?
Seems unlikely.
But if being hysterical makes you feel better, have at it.
Hysterical? That post is as matter-of-fact and resigned to this ongoing train wreck as possible.
Lol.
Number of US citizens labeled extremists and deported to CECOT to date?
0.
So yeah, I’d say that there’s more than a touch of Chicken Little at play.
To date? Did you even read what was written?
I guess that WILL BE the language cited WHEN THEY BEGIN turning these policies on citizens.
If your next response isn’t “Oh, my bad, I missed that!”, don’t bother …
So you’ve got nothing but fear and wild speculation. Have at it, Nostradamus.
Among your defects, be sure to include reading comprehension and the inability to STFU when uncloaked as a moron.

That's f*n scary, and clearly this isn't just about anti-semitism. They profiled the dude because he had a Muslim sounding name.
I wonder how the Muslim Americans who said they would not vote for Harris are feeling now. If I were them, I'd be afraid to leave the country.
So, Trump's admin is targeting Muslims and Hispanics, demanding to see their papers. But, they freely welcome in Russians. Hmm.. what's the difference, I wonder. MAGA /s
My husband is a naturalized citizen, but is Egyptian Muslim. He's been a citizen since 1991. He wants to go back to Egypt to visit his ailing mother and I'm terrified about his ability to return. He often gets stopped anyway because of his name. I've seen the difference over how he's treated when I travel with him and when he travels solo.
He has no social media and doesn't get involved in national politics. He actually has a security clearance. He's not a threat. But still, I worry.

Why is it good? Why don't they monitor for other racist posts? Why just pick anti-semitism?
Because I’m a Jew and we don’t need to be importing Jew haters.
I’m a Jew and we don’t need to be violating the First Amendment. This fascist sh$t in the name of antisemitism makes me ill.

Anonymous wrote:They're not monitoring for "anti-Semitism" - they're monitoring for criticism of Israel. Which is insane.
You can't criticism another country? A specific country? Batshit insane. All the more reason why our relationship with Israel should be criticized and scrutinized.

You say 'good', but you don't realize the precedence this is setting.
Next it will be the US Gov monitoring what US citizens are saying and punishing them for it, which is for now, still a First Amendment protection.
You'll probably say GOOD to that, too, because your guy is in the white house. But you won't be saying GOOD in a few years when things flip. The Democrats can take power and declare MAGA a hate group. They can use this precedence to round up all the red hatters and jail them. But, GOOD, right?

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

"First they came for the Jew haters"
I was going to ask where the Torah says that invading a nation and killing the natives is a defining aspect of Judaism, but then I remembered that it's in the middle of Deuteronomy.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Bc if we can see their antisemitic social media posts then so can hostile foreign actors--and these immigrants can then be targeted/cultivated to actively promote hostilities. There is a lawsuit currently going forward allegedly showing that several foreign actors did this in relation to some of the campus protests in the wake of oct. 7.
It's not bc Jews are "more special" than other minority groups, just a reflection of the current moment. Obviously you can be critical of Israel and not be anti-Semitic, but that line can also be blurred. Hostile foreign actors don't really care ima out the nuance, they just want to further stoke domestic division. And a new immigrant, especially if they come from a place where actual jew-hatred is perfectly mainstream, is currently an ideal target.
Then why don't they monitor Russians' social media activity more? You know they are trying to destroy the US from the inside out, and they are doing a fine job of it with Trump in power.
There was that Russian woman who was basically a spy for Putin who gained entry into MAGA Trump's orbit. IMO, they need to ban all Russians coming in.
Look a little more carefully into that. The former ceo of overstock has written about how the FBI was using him to frame her.
