I was going to ask where the Torah says that invading a nation and killing the natives is a defining aspect of Judaism, but then I remembered that it's in the middle of Deuteronomy.

doh.  I had this chat with a Christian guy (I'm one, too). He kept saying how the Koran supported violence.  I said, "Have you read the Bible?"
