Tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, shops, cafes, bars, clubs, all walking distance to campus. Some are institutions that have been there for decades. And the pizza, oh don't get even get me started on the pizza. And you can take the train into NYC for a weekend or even a day trip on Metro North. New Haven is a lot nicer than it used to be, so I think the issue is that its reputation hasn't caught up. Or maybe some people just don't like urban campuses. If you want a school in the middle of nowhere, you're never going to like Yale. [/quote]
