This is a new phenomenon. The school has new leadership. The school has become like a coworker who is constantly calling in sick or otherwise finding some excuse why he or she can't come into work. It's constantly closing for reasons that are not well explained. As a parent, it can feel like your child doesn't get to go to school all that often.  [/quote]

Does "all that often" mean once a month, once a quarter, once a year? How often is LAMB "calling in sick" so that it impacts the regular attendance of school children? School closures are hard especially when unexpected but I wonder if the bigger issue is the threat of uncertainty rather than the actual number of unexpected closure days.[/quote]

Look at the school calendar. There aren't that many weeks in the entire school year where school is in session for five whole days. [/quote]
