AP exams are to earn college credit. My DD took 11 AP classes but only 2 exams because the schools she applied to only accepted 2 AP classes for credit. Each AP exam is about $75. Some weren't go8ng to pay %700 for no benefit. I asked thus very question at an admission session and was told that getting good scores on APs can help.an application, but not pro idi g s ores won't hurt the application because they know some.diatricts charge for the exam and some.celleges don't accept or accept very few for credit.
