Every racist talking point against DEI is based on ignorance and disinformation. The unqualified hires are the partisan cronies and good old boy network hires. Not one person in the Trump Administration is a merit hire. Congress created a preference for veterans because they want to encourage veterans to use their training and experience in the civil service. Yet, most Republicans would still claim that a qualified Black veteran is never more deserving than an unqualified white non-veteran. [/quote]
