Several people brought up good points about the expectations of the center referee. They should know the rules, keep the players safe, be confident enough to use the whistle and enforce the rules, and also be able to take some moaning. If you kid isn't ready to center, have them be an AR and you can sit near them and keep an eye on them. [/quote]
