I don’t mind crossovers if there is a winner/loser bracket like they do in National Tourneys. But you have some schools who lost at Districts. Lost at Regionals. And now have a 3d bite at a post season in the state tournament. [/quote]

The scenario played out this year, Yorktown lost to oakton in 6D regional finals. Then in state tournament Yorktown beat the first place team from region 6Bin quarter finals and then they beat the first place team from Region 6C in state semifinals. The state finals will be a rematch of region 6D finals, Yorktown v Oakton[/quote]
