AND its started already right? Those who voted FOR THIS MAN will now complain and blame the Dems for NOT DOING MORE TO STOP IT. Dems will be villainized once again. I'm over it. I told my grandma about his plans for SS I told my cousin who is married to an immigrant about his plans I told my aunt about the economy I told my mom about women's health issues I talked to everyone until i was blue in the face and you know what? THey still voted for him. Facts didn't matter. Truth didn't matter. Well, now it is all WHAT will we do to reign him in??? I don't know? Nothing? Sorry Margo but this ship has sailed and i am enjoying a pina colada right now. You figure your own shit out.
Because they were not driven by reason. There are no rational reasons to vote for Trump.
And yet here we are with 50% voting for him. 35-40% there was no convincing. They are a cult, and believe anything he lies to them about. Most often, it's against their own best interest. Now it's time for them to live with what they voted for---surprize, he doesn't give a shit about you. The other 10-15% are either rich (so voted for the financial perks of R politics) or racists/mysoginistic that they simply couldn't vote for her. They know what Trump is and stands for, yet they still voted for him. Most of that 10-15% were able to do that because, his policies won't largely affect them (except for the women in their lives). I live in a Blue area , and there are boys at the local HS telling girls "your body, my choice" in the last week in person and on Social Media. That tells you were we are at in life. UmC/Rich kids near a large city, who feel empowered to talk like that. That tells me that that attitude was normalized at home---the family is racist and mysoginistic. I can assure you my son would never talk like that, because they were not raised that way.
