No, I think married moms are making the point that being a divorced mom who has 3-4 days “off” per week is easier than being the primary everything every day. Certainly not having a partner or compartment is infinitely harder. No married mother thinks an actual single mother (not a half-time mom) is an easy life. [/quote]

When I was married I never begrudged divorced moms their days off due to joint custody. They have to deal with difficult exes, paying rent/mortgage by themselves, fixing things in their homes, going years without sex if they don't want to date.

They are women taking it out on other women instead of acknowledging the insane modern parenting model we have with helicopter nuclear families and no universal health or childcare or extended family nearby.[/quote]
