This combines Trump's two biggest wedge issues: immigration and trans stuff.

Without these, Trump basically has no platform.

I don't why Democrats couldn't distance themselves from the excesses of the trans movement, like the six foot tall transwomen playing in women's sports, but now it may get Trump re-elected.

You’re exactly right.  If the Democrats followed reasonable policies on the border and trans issues, this election would be a non-issue.  It’s insane that Trump has a chance of winning this thing, but here we are.  [/quote]

I'm not sure why the Ds are so willing to relax the border, but I imagine it is a combination of corporate interests (to expand the labor supply) and self interest in expanding the democratic party voter base.[/quote]
