While it's obviously not true that EVERYONE has herpes, it's true that many, many people have antibodies. For most people who are HSV positive, they either never have outbreaks, they have them rarely, or they take antivirals and rarely/never have outbreaks.

Very few men who have outbreaks would take anti-virals. They have side effects. It’s only 14% of women abc 8% men with general herpes out there. I don’t want to catch it and be on anti-virals for a dating sake. F..k it they can date others with herpes if there are so many available out there [/quote]
