I don't understand people who think that APS is above reproach. Having an accurate calendar is one of first and most basic tasks for a school system. This is a system that gets tax money to operate, and people seem to think it's wrong to criticize when they do a poor job? This kind of thing is a problem. APS shouldn't be making these kinds of mistakes. [/quote]

I don’t think APS is above reproach. There’s a lot wrong with APS, but not with their calendar. I think certain parents make mountains out of molehills trying to bend others to their will that APS is the evilest entity that ever eviled. I don’t care about the 180 days. I’m fine with the 995 hours. And I’m perfectly fine with two extra PD days that are mandated by the state. If you don’t like it, please homeschool. You and your children deserve each other’s company exclusively. 🥰[/quote]
