Currently, months later, APS websites do not communicate that they also have off for these two PL days. Anyone who pulled the calendar and was making their school year plans would not know. How hard is it to updated the freakingu calendars? God I hate APS.
Please leave then and take your kids with you. 😘
I don't understand people who think that APS is above reproach. Having an accurate calendar is one of first and most basic tasks for a school system. This is a system that gets tax money to operate, and people seem to think it's wrong to criticize when they do a poor job? This kind of thing is a problem. APS shouldn't be making these kinds of mistakes.
It wasn’t a mistake. The mandate for training came after the calendar was published.
Uh, what are you talking about? The SB voted and now there is no school these days. Weeks ago. How freaking hard is it to update the calendar? The website? Many people missed these additional days off since they were voted on over the summer. Now, though, when people check the school year calendar, it appears to the thousands of parents that there is school these days. It’s complete incompetence on the part of Syphax and, again, terrible communication.

They are on the calendar I printed out a couple weeks ago
Below is the one linked to by Google and also this is the one on the APS website under 2024-25 calendar. It does NOT include the additional PL days added. It’s the one 99% of people are going to rely upon.
