+1 - The GOP long ago gave up the idea of a two party system where you compromise to achieve positive outcomes for the population at large. They are interested in power and have leveraged every method to get it. And it's worked a lot of the time. And they've mistaken procedural success for popular success. They believe their ideas are a lot more mainstream and successful than they actually are.[/quote]
