Not sure if weird resonates but it’s an improvement on the extreme, apoplectic language both parties have using - “ not going to have a country” and “end of democracy”
It's not an improvement. Americans are going to ignore "weird" as well. They just don't care about it. They're interested in the top of the ticket and the policies. If Project 2025 reflects Trump's future policies, then everything written by former Obama and Biden officials, as well as every Democrat think tank, must be attributed to Harris.
You ... know JD Vance wrote the forward to the Project 2025 book, right? That's not even arms-length distance. And if Trump didn't know that was coming out when he selected him to be his right hand man -- good lord, how incompetent is that? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/jd-vance-foreword-in-project-2025-leaders-book-raises-eyebrows/ar-BB1qySnz
Nice goalpost shifting AND sidestep there. Now it's Vance instead of Trump (and by the way, has Vance come out and said that he's going to adopt Project 2025 if he and Trump win?). Also, I guess you agree that everything that is written by a Democrat think tank is Harris' policy if she (or her soon to be VP pick) have their name attached to it in any way, shape, or form - right?
Nice deflection. The Project 2025 thing isn't making positive news for you guys right now. It's just going to get worse since it's clearly an identified sore spot.
Actually it's not. Only on DCUM is it. Biden and other Democrat leaders pushed the Project 2025 narrative a few weeks ago. It's out of the news cycle.
Actually, I see and hear that it is catching on and spreading. That’s what happens when you not only say the quiet part out loud, you share it widely in a 900 page manifesto. The right was hoping for a “contract with America” moment and they have walked into a “ deplorables” moment.
I'm seeing Project 2025 a lot in my Facebook groups for old ladies like me. The groups are generally non-political. SOmeone will post something alarming they read about Project 2025 and a sort-of Trump supporter (not a die hard MAGA) will comment that you shouldn't believe everything you read, and a lot of Project 2025 has been taking out of context, and that they don't support everything in it... then a discussion gets started about what exactly Project 2025 is, who the Heritage Foundation is, how they influence the Republican platform. And people start doing direct screen shots of the relevant pages of Project 2025 and WOW a lot of people (generally non-political) are aghast. They are taken aback and think it is troubling. These aren't MAGA diehards but they are generally conservative/Republican.
