That’s a bad take and a cheap shot against Dodds. He was a good coach that ran a solid program and led us to multiple state championships before running into the same overarching problem that Ince is inheriting - recruiting. SSSA has a school admissions office that is unfriendly to athletes and an Alexandria pipeline that’s a fraction of what it once was. Ince is at the mercy of factors he doesn’t control. Jerks like the one who made the post above will be making the same ignorant comment about Ince in a few years. Good luck to Dodds at Ireton. We were happy to have him coach our son.[/quote]

KJ’s pipeline is totally different. It’s been in place for a generation and the girls who apply (mostly) don’t need any help from admissions.

SSSAs boys lax problems run deeper than whoever the coach is. After this season they lose the only D1 commits they have left. It will take years to begin turning the program around IF Ince can convince families to give it a shot and admissions gets a clue. Until then they will be a bottom feeder in the league regardless of who is coach. [/quote]

Good Counsel did it in 2 seasons with the coach simply telling the parents of good players their kid will play right away and he has connections to college. SJC did it in 2 seasons by promising 12 Annapolis Hawks (appx 8 stayed all 4 years) parents their kids would play right away and he has connections to college. It's not that difficult. [/quote]
