I have an adult sibling and a parent who both have severe mental illness. When they purposefully and actively interfere with or refuse altogether treatment, there is nothing you can do. You watch them spiral and have to set boundaries. It affects the entire family. I hate that she is unmedicated. I have that Kanye is unmedicated. Both of them as well as my brother and mother are well within their rights to refuse treatment but it’s their choice. Britney doesn’t get a pass bc she’s famous. [/quote]
