Also, some area coaches actively assist their players with college recruiting while others clearly do not. We are zoned for Yorktown HS in Arlington. I believe the recently departed coach Joe Reed admitted that in his 8 (?) years of coaching, only one player lasted more than a year playing college ball (can't recall if D1, 2 or 3). I don't know how many players were actually recruited. On the other side of the county, I think a serious baller would have better luck getting college coach (any level) attention at Wakefield.[/quote]
