I'd rather my child not attend a middling U of Richmond, and I wouldn't pay $300,000 and put them in a pressure cooker for 4 years to improve  their chances by just 30%. You would deny your child a college education rather than have them go to a “middling” college? (And I don’t think a college can be middling if it doesn’t accept the middle, can it?) So if you kid didn’t live up to your standards no Towson or Salisbury or whatever instate truly “middling” university for them? Wow. That’s some snobbery you’ve got going on.
