Tulane? Must be ED
no one getting in Tulane with those stats unless a super elevated schedule. Many SEC schools also hard this year.
Tulane ED acceptance rate is 68%. Some of you really have no idea what you’re talking about.

Bethesda Magazine reports an acceptance rate under 20 percent for W school applicants to Richmond...would you rather have that or 50/50?
I'd rather my child not attend a middling U of Richmond, and I wouldn't pay $300,000 and put them in a pressure cooker for 4 years to improve their chances by just 30%. If they really need that much help to get into such an average school, they need to look into car sales or a trade (as painful as that would be for their over-educated parent).

we asked and these were the lowest GPAs accepted to these schools in the past 3 years from our school
Amherst College 3.9
Bates College 3.3
Bowdoin College 3.7
Colby College 3.4
Connecticut College 3.5
Hamilton College 3.9
Middlebury College 3.7
Trinity College 3.4
Tufts University 3.6
Wesleyan University 3.6
Williams 3.9
Not sure which big 3 you’re talking about bc my DC with the GPA around 3.4 got into several of these schools.
So did ours and our SIL’s DC so doable.

Nope. You have no idea what you are talking about. It was 68% in 2022. New admissions director last year (2023) and the ED acceptance rate to Tulane was 31%.

Anonymous wrote:Having a 3.3 to 3.5 at these schools is solid. But, no - not anything great. Many of these students were accepted to the schools when they were 4 or 5 years old.
Not the same type of vetting that occurs when applying to 9th grade.

They all get into Michigan with ease. Tulane and SMU too. And huge SEC party schools.
