[/quote] The homicide closure rate is under 50%, this will only be a priority if there is media attention or if a big donor pressures the mayor. Property crime - you are on your own in DC. If you can't afford plenty of replacement window glass, time to move out of DC. Remember cars have been stolen, had ignitions torn apart or had wheels stolen even in apartment building or hotel garages in DC. It's a city based on a lot of street parking.
