Wow, I didn't realize that was his motivation. What a good human. Unfortunately, people who serve in at-risk communities put themselves at risk often times. I say this as someone who did similar work years ago. It's gotten to danger levels I've never seen though. I think these agencies should shutter in protest, that would send a message to the politicians if they all closed the doors and put up an explanatory sign. Much like the restaurants that are saying that staying open in DC has become unworkable for them. They need to put their employees first--they did not sign up to be Marines and they don't have the training or weapons. His poor family. Where are the protests in which the community organizers pour into the streets, the hands up don't shoot?[/quote]

That's why these non profits should shutter. "If you don't care, we don't care". Obviously they do care, but when their volunteers are being gunned down - you have to take a stand .[/quote]
