On College Confidential, there was little merit posted compared to previous years. It was generally used to shape the class: sky high test scores or women in engineering (with very high test scores). Much of the OOS merit was $5K/year, so just a token. Arts and Sciences at Pitt is running 54K this year, and I expect it to be 57K next year. Definitely not going to meet UMD instate, or even close.[/quote]
