He had a speech impediment (lisp) that was fixed with speech therapy. Not sure if that was the cause--I had one as well, also fixed through therapy. However, I also sucked my thumb until about age 6. Probable cause? It does cause issues. They can be resolved. But it takes time, energy, and money.[/quote]
