No - what  matters is if journalist are actually reporting facts by gathering information from all sources.

They haven't denied he is speaking, as is currently advertised. If he is speaking by zoom to the conference, why doesn't his office just say that? If he decided to pull out of the conference, why doesn't his office say that? His office could quickly quell the uproar by clarifying this. Saying "his is not traveling this weekend" doesn't mean the same thing as "he is not speaking at the conference" or "he was scheduled but pulled out" or "he is speaking there but by zoom, so he is not traveling." Strange that is so difficult to do.[/quote]
