[quote=Anonymous]Honestly, thank god Trump isn't President. By now he would have made up some lie about how the US had definitive evidence that Iran ordered the Hamas attack, and he would have scribbled with a sharpie on a napkin that he sent with some 25 yo Republican aide to the Joint Chief Milley ordering the US to nuke Iran. He would have said North Korea and Russia are such good friends that he was gonna make them give weapons to Israel thus saving the US taxpayers money. Meanwhile Trump would be encouraging Netanyahu to take the moment to shove the the vote on the Israeli Supreme Court thru and declare some kind of authoritarian state of emergency ensuring his power forever. (Which Bibi would love to do because otherwise at the end of this war, he would have to resign in shame when the magnitude of his failures becomes clear.) Then Trump would probably promise to move the US Embassy to Gaza. Melania would be busy bumping reporters off the plane scheduled to visit Israel in order to fit several extra suitcases of clothing. The Joint Chiefs would be running around trying to figure out if it's legal to carry out napkin orders, and back-channeling to Bolton, who would probably be completely out of the loop and torn by his hatred of Iran but still clinging to the intellectual reality that starting a nuclear war probably isn't a good idea. Bolton would be skulking in the Office of the NSC Exec Sec every day rifling thru the outbox and pulling any papers that looked like they could be an official order from the Commander in Chief. Thankfully for Bolton, thy'll never be such an order because Meadows would have assigned the drafting to yet another completely unqualified 25 yo white male recent graduate, and the best he would be able to come up with would be an improvement on the napkin, but still only be crayon on lined paper. Jared would be busy figuring what kind of settlement he could push for that he could monetize for future Israeli and Saudi contributions to his post-presidency investment fund. Ivanka would have flown in immediately to do humanitarian pics with Israeli mothers. At home at night Jared and Ivanka would probably be arguing about whether it's more important to secure their financial future with the Arab world or her dream of inheriting the presidency from her dad.
