But more importantly....and I have had this discussion with SO many parents and students....IT IS THE STUDENT AND NOT THE SCHOOL that makes success! Especially in the new economy. It won't matter a bit if DS graduates from Cornell with a 3.75 if she doesn't have job-specific skills. Pick a school because it's a good fit for your child and not because of the name across the top of the diploma. Really....almost no one cares anymore unless you are going into academia (and good lord don't go into academia).[/quote] What was your university's admit rate?
