She was at will and fired without cause so she has zero standing to sue unless she can prove that her termination was explicitly discriminatory, nor does she deserve to get her job back. Although, I expect they will work something out for her in the end.

That’s not true. Casey Anderson confirmed she was fired for talking about the investigation. Anderson’s comments probably violated personnel law. [/quote]
“Without cause” doesn’t mean for no reason. “At will” means that they can have any reason or no reason at all, just so long as they are not violating official HR policy or the law, eg in fact discrimination. [/quote]

If there’s a reason there’s cause. She could be misrepresenting the circumstances of her termination. We haven’t heard anything from planning other than the fact of her termination and Casey Anderson’s statement that she was terminated for violating policy. [/quote]
