While I agree that the sentiment that started this thread is inane and/or dangerous, I don’t know if I agree with the idea that Democrats are generally failing to win hearts and minds. If our system granted political power to parties that advanced more popular agendas, rather than to parties that do well in underpopulated rural states, Democrats would have a lock on government for years to come.
