Top coaches will express heavy interest to their top list but they don’t usually offer positions to girls without visiting with them (and their parents) on campus first. The visits are typically where the offers for the top girls are made. Most coaches will want their top prospects to come to campus ASAP (as in this weekend — Labor Day — so be prepared to scratch those beach plans if you get the call to your dream school).
