Rarely do girls commit on 9/1. Top coaches will express heavy interest to their top list but they don’t usually offer positions to girls without visiting with them (and their parents) on campus first. The visits are typically where the offers for the top girls are made. Most coaches will want their top prospects to come to campus ASAP (as in this weekend — Labor Day — so be prepared to scratch those beach plans if you get the call to your dream school). Look for the top players (midfielders mostly) to start making their decisions next week thru the end of the month.

This is my goal, our daughter is a 2026 and she's an excellent student but everyone needs a hook to get into an Ivy. I don't care if she plays college lacrosse, though if the lax coach can get her into an ivy all of these out of state tournaments for the past few years will have been worth it.
