Oh, wow! Yes, I would maybe call myself small "e" evangelical still, but definitely out of the conservative bubble. DH is atheist, so that's interesting. I do think there is a place for more progressive Christianity at Messiah (especially among the faculty & considering some of the Anabaptist/Wesleyan values), though much still needs to change in terms of policy (but, hey, at least they can dance now)!. My mom is a Wheaton alum.  Funny story, DD got accepted to Brown (& Dartmouth and NU) and rejected by Wheaton. I was wondering if it was because she wrote a dissent to part of their student conduct code about same sex relationships. Ah well. Their loss. She would have been good for them. I don't think she would have chosen them over those 3 anyway.
