This isn't true. In DC, if you make less than $7500 a year, the minimum child support obligation is $50 a month. If a person makes up to $15,000, it's set at 20% or $3,000 a year. That's $250 a month.  It doesn't go up very much from there.

I'm not a troll and condoms do not prevent pregnancy, do they?  Their primary purpose is to stop the spread of STDs.  You're damn right, I would go with two forms of birth control because I know that she isn't going to suddenly abstain and I wouldn't want her pregnant again until she was grown and married.[/quote]

Two forms of birth control are one thing. Use of the pill and IUD together is rare. Plus IUDs are often a poor choice for teens.[/quote]
