In DC, if you make less than $7500 a year, the minimum child support obligation is $50 a month. If a person makes up to $15,000, it's set at 20% or $3,000 a year. That's $250 a month. It doesn't go up very much from there. Yes, the woman still bears the brunt of raising a child.[/quote]
