Completely agree. Our DD was accepted to schools in areas she considered “too remote” (ie Syracuse, Wake Forest, Vassar.) Interesting that she and a number of her friends who were raised in the DC area prefer to be in a city/close proximity to a major city for college.[/quote]

My kid is similar but is okay with a smaller city. I’m glad as I think it will be good to experience a smaller city vibe. It is SO nice that it takes 15 min to get anywhere. No traffic! [/quote]
