Honestly confused about why that joke bothered people so much, and the accusations of sock puppeting. It’s possible for a post to be both helpful and funny, no one denied the former. I am the second lunch PP, and also OP btw, and think it’s great that PP’s kid has so many options. I started this thread bc DC has their last admitted student days coming up at a very good school but is leaning towards somewhere else. I was trying to get a sense of how often a good admitted student event moves the needle and why. This feedback has all been really helpful.
