Bi woman here. 1. I exist 2. I'm not a lesbian 3. I'm not looking for male attention 4. I'm monogamous and always have been. Have never cheated. 5. It is Bi-phobic to not date a Bisexual person. You are literally afraid of them and have prejudices against them. That's what a phobia is. That's what this entire thread is.
So if I choose not to date a person because she is bi, then I'm afraid of them, have a phobia and are prejudiced against them? That's laughable and, well, kind of stupid. It's called a sexual preference, not a phobia.
https://bi.org/en/articles/biphobia-is-not-just-watered-down-homophobia
New poster. I read that article. You might want to find a better-written, better-reasoned resource to convince people. The author talks about how men shouldn't be, his words, "grossed out" that he has sex with women because it's not like he didn't shower afterward. And women shouldn't consider him "less of a man" for having sex with men. He's trying to be cool and flip with that language, I know, but the result is he sounds entitled.
