What's to stop Revolution from becoming a ECNL R club? Seems to be a low bar of entry. The current NOVA crop of ECNL R teams are already either just B teams and mediocre NPL clubs anyway. Villarreal's top teams are in ECNL R and they are terrible across the board on both Boys and Girls side. Are you suggesting that VA Revolution can't match that level of performance?[/quote]

Revolution has a long way to go filling out their teams before any league discussions can be started. They mostly have just 1 team per age group, especially on the girls side, and even those teams are pretty sparse with mixed birth years. Recruiting enough players in a crowded market like Loudoun is not easy and certainly not a given. Ask Barca how easy it is to recruit enough girls in Loudoun to have healthy teams, or ask FCV how easy it is to recruit boys. Or Leesburg FC or Evergreen FC for that matter. There have been plenty of upstart clubs in Loudoun over the years with mixed results.[/quote]
