[/quote] OP does not have to justify her decision to anyone. “I don’t want dogs at my thanksgiving” is 100% acceptable. Could be because of her new house, could be because she’s allergic, could be because she’s had bad experiences with dogs, or just because she doesn’t want to have them there. Nothing to “get over”, sweetie. [/quote] I’m not allowed to bring my shedding dog to my parents’ house because my sister (who doesn’t live with them) is allergic. It is what it is.
