Or, there will always be the grandkids ;)[/quote] We did exactly this - added a name we hadn't used because of family drama (in our case, added the name as a middle). I am glad we did it. Child got an extra name and is totally happy about it. We didn't ask her permission but we did tell her and she didn't really register (she was 4).[/quote]
