You can’t expect to not switch company if you are want more money. Amazon recently are giving SDE 2 a TC $300k, maybe you can start there. That’s the sad part of FAANG, they reward new comers more than promotions. Your age, school or race has nothing to do with your TC. If you have been working since you graduate college that would give you 7 yoe. If you’re making no close to $300k at FAANG, then you need to switch.[/quote]
