I've always preached once kids hit U13 parents should have no involvement in the team. Everything should be handled by the coach / club. I'm fine with paying a little more to have personnel hired to handle all the "parent" duties that clubs ask parents to handle. Too much politics and favoritism towards the parents who are in higher positions of team management which is wrong.
Not at my Club! I am a TM and my kid used to be a starter for a few years. Puberty hasn't hit compared to other teammates and now my kid sits on the bench as a Sub. Talented but not aggressive enough. IT SUCKS because of all the darn work I manage and all the extra duties (we participate in two leagues) you would think Coach would give my kid 10 extra minutes of play time per game but nothing. Coach is great, but Coaches to win. Parents and kids are great, that's why we stick around...but really, can you just give my kiddo 10 extra minutes of play time??? I do the job absolutely no one wants and I get absolutely nothing for it! Why should the coach give your kid more playing time if you're the Team Manager? That is the exact reason parents shouldn't be involved in the team started at U13...
