I think that’s really stupid of you.  A lot of posters here are being ridiculous.  It’s one of the top school districts in the state.  We’re in the middle of a pandemic.  Now we have a vaccine, they’ve opened for hybrid, and in the fall, everything will be back to normal.  This whole thread is so stupid.[/quote]

Curious when we move out of the "middle of a pandemic" mentality. That is a key phrase that is routinely tossed out as though it justifies all things. But, we're not in the middle by my account anymore. We have vaccines. Variants are emerging, but, we're certainly light years from where we were last March. The problem is that we have barely moved the needle from last March, while a significant portion of the rest of America and the world have prioritized education and moved on from obsessing over the minutia like we are here.

Other parts of the country are not hyperventilating over classroom capacity and 3 ft vs. 6 ft, indoor lunch, etc etc etc. I'm not saying that we should have a free for all, but, my gosh, it has been over a year now. Anyone who thinks our kids are not falling behind is kidding themselves and living in denial so that they don't have to face reality. [/quote]
