Or maybe to show them that if he had just done as instructed no force would have been used in the first place.

Think about how those two different lessons might effect the outcomes in life for the kids.

One assumes racial motivations where none are evident.  One one lead them to assume they are being targeted even in totally innocent interactions.

The other might let a traffic stop just be a traffic stop.

They were yelling contradictory orders and one cop was foaming at the mouth crazy. The driver acted calmly and appropriately to deescalate the situation but reasonably feared that the lunatic cop was going to shoot him if he moved. [/quote]
