Did you see the Glebe plan to offer only 40 minutes or 40+30 minutes of in person instruction on hybrid days, with the rest via iPad? For third graders. It's insane.[/quote] That's a scenario specific to Glebe -- they have the model where each teacher only teaches one subject. Our elementary school has had a single teacher teaching all subjects, so they won't have the same experience. APS should do more to standardize across neighborhood schools. That having been said, elementary kids will have had two days off a week (not counting asynchronous Mondays) every week in February. I think that's why people are complaining. [/quote]
