I want a charter, unions suck, but I'm a liberal look they let in black and brown kids.  I mean I won't talk to those kids moms but see my kid is exposed to stuff I didn't get in the midwest. DCPS is an epic mess too but the entitlement that you couldn't use your local school so you went to a charter and somehow things would be different.

People like to say that, but less than 20% of teachers are 55 and over, nationally. DC and Florida don't publish their numbers, but it's pretty steady across the US, and there's no reason to think DC would be particularly different. So, yeah, I'm fine with 20% of the teacher workforce staying at home to teach the kids who will continue in distance learning.

Now you accusing people of not caring about rape is disgusting. Are you a parent? I am assuming you know people in charter schools and maybe in LAMB, because that sounds like a lot of personal and very specific anger. [/quote]
