I was in the same boat as you.  Hit the weights and eat a lot.  You’d be surprised what muscles and a good haircut/good fitting clothes do for your odds.

+1 men have to make some effort, too.  You don't have to be naturally super good looking.  It's amazing what a toned body, dressing well and a nice haircut will do for people, that includes women, who also have makeup to  make them look better.  Most movie stars look like crap without putting effort into their looks.

If you are expecting hot women to hit on you, then you'd better be hot. Why would hot women pay attention to average looking men?  I don't see hot men paying attention to average looking women.[/quote]
