Also, there are two large state parks, Hamonasset and Rocky Neck, that have campgrounds and stuff too and CT is so small that the shoreline is not a long drive from anywhere. For those of us NOT from the rich places like Fairfield or Westport, that is our access to beaches since so much of the CT shoreline is 'owned' by private rich folks. There are a few public town beaches, Lordship in Stratford and the one in Bridgeport that you take the ferry to (name escapes me).[/quote]
