It's that This Type of Girl ALWAYS really likes beer and football, really really explicitly, like it's a character trait. Declaring that an entire gender irritates you, and then assuming not that it's because you're hanging around with the wrong kind of women, but instead it's because you're a Cool Girl, is a trope.
